The Minister of Health has announced that after receiving the results of 2 451 tests conducted nationwide, 21 have come out positive.
8 of them in Tirana, 3 in Durres, Elbasan, 2 in Konispol and 1 in Fier, Lezhe, Vlora, Saranda, Cerrik.
Meanwhile, there’s a total of 156 active COVID-19 patients nationwide, 5 of whom are receiving specialized medical treatments at Tirana’s Infective Hospital.
After achieving a minimization of new daily cases in our country, experts have noticed a slight gradual rise in infections.
Health authorities appeal to citizens to not neglect any possible signs of the disease, while also respecting preventive measures to their fullest.
Citizens are invited to contact their family doctor if they notice anything worrisome, or to call the National Emergency Number at 127.
