Romania’s ambassador in Belgrade, Silvia Davidou declared today that her country won’t change the stance on Kosovo’s independence.

After the meeting with the head of the Parliamentary Commission for Kosovo, Milovan Drecun, the Romanian diplomat stated that the only acceptable solution is the one that is simultaneously approved by Serbia.

Her comments come one day after the appeal of the Croatian Chief of Diplomacy Gordan Grlic Radman directed at the five last EU member states that have yet to recognize Kosovo’s independence.

Cyprus, Spain, Romania, Greece and Slovakia still haven’t recognized Kosovo’s independence.
