The bust of Mit’hat Frasheri located near the Artificial Lake in Tirana was destroyed last night.
The bust was pulled from its place and dropped to the ground, while the marble slabs were also broken.
The work of the sculptor Agim Rada, the bust was placed near the Artificial Lake in October 2018.
Artur Roshi, head of the Balli Kombetar Party, said in an interview for Euronews Albania that Mit’hat Frasheri’s bust was destroyed by extreme leftist militants inspired by Edi Rama.
According to Roshi, Rama’s vocabulary in Parliament where he insults MPs, using negative connotations, has influenced this attack.
