The Democratic Party MP, Ervin Salianji, stated that there is no division of the DP in Korca.

Invited to the show “Rinon” on Euronews Albania, Salianji emphasized that the supporters of Sali Berisha and Enkelejd Alibeaj took part in the primaries, putting out joint candidates.

“The DP at the national level is not in its best conditions, but as in many cases, opportunities can be found from crises to do better, and I believe that even in Korca and everywhere else, the DP is reorganizing and taking a different approach. In Korca there are no divisions as to who is with Berisha and Alibeaj. Both parts of the Democratic Party participated in a joint competition and decided on branch leaders who were accepted by both sides. The division that is at the central level is not reflected at the local level,” said Salianji.
