The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, during a stay in Germany, promised that he will personally ensure that the Civil Code of Kosovo is approved as soon as possible.

He said that for this he will seek the help of the opposition, as he enjoys the support of all the deputies of his party, due to the article that paves the way for same-sex marriage.

But it seems that neither the latter nor the opposition intends to support Kurti in this matter.

Even the deputies of Vetëvendosje who oppose this code, do not intend to change their position.

While, according to Agusholli’s colleague, Armend Muja, Vetëvendosje is working on reaching a consensus within the group.

However, the chances are small that this will be achieved, which may cause the Kurti government to fail to close this issue during this mandate.
