The ideal season: spring

To avoid crowds and enjoy a cooler, more pleasant climate, we recommend going in the spring, particularly between April and May.

During this time of year, temperatures are still relatively mild, with highs around 19°C-22°C, and nature is in full bloom. It’s worth noting that the number of tourists is lower, allowing you to discover the charms of Saranda in a peaceful setting.

Spring entrance: April

April is a particularly pleasant month to visit Saranda, as temperatures begin to rise and tourist traffic remains low. We invite you to take advantage of this to explore the many sites and attractions of the city without being overwhelmed by crowds.

Sunbathing on the beaches

The magnificent beaches of Saranda are one of the main tourist attractions of the city. You can enjoy the sun and swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea on beaches such as:

Pasqyrat: a large and popular beach equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas for rent.

Ksamil: located a few kilometers south of Saranda, this small coastal village has some of the most beautiful beaches in the region, surrounded by lush vegetation and small islands easily accessible by boat.

Discovering local flavors

Albanian cuisine is rich and varied, and Saranda is no exception. During our stays, we enjoy tasting local specialties such as byrek (filled pastry), tavë kosi (lamb cooked in yogurt), or raki, a traditional grape-based alcoholic beverage.

Note that seafood restaurants are also numerous and generally offer an excellent selection of fresh fish caught locally.
