Some schools in the capital do not have a heating system.
Most of the time, the boilers are either not working, or the teachers have to save energy.
Children say they have to dress thickly to keep from getting cold.
“Actually, we have several heaters that don’t work, only one seems to work. I wear the sweatshirt to class and wear thick T-shirts,” says one boy.
“We warm ourselves in the classroom with heaters, when I’m cold sometimes because the teacher doesn’t turn it on, we wear sweatshirts,” says another.
The children say that the lack of heaters makes it difficult to conduct a normal lesson. Heating in schools has been a problem for several years. But now it seems that the solution is far away, as educational institutions also need to save energy.
