The main party of the Serbs in Kosovo, Serb List, has expressed condolences to the families of the killed Serbs and the Kosovo police during the armed attack on the Kosovo Police in Banjska, Zveçan on September 24.

From the fight between an armed group and the Kosovo Police, policeman Afrim Bunjaku was killed and several others were injured. Kosovo authorities have said that four suspected attackers were killed during clashes in the monastery of Banjska.

“We demand an investigation into the murder of at least two Serbs, who were killed in cold blood even though they surrendered. We ask the international community why EULEX did not participate in the operation, but only the police of Kurti?”, said Serb List without providing evidence to support these claims.

This party, which has the support of official Belgrade, called for restraint and peace.

“In this regard, we urgently need KFOR and EULEX to be deployed in the north to prevent further escalation of the situation and to prevent political abuses of this tragic event”, said Serb List.

This reaction of the Serbian List comes after the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, and the head of the Police, Gazmend Hoxha, accused the vice president of this party, Millan Radoicic, of organizing and participating in the attack.
