Serb List MP Igor Simić posted a video from the Assembly session on his Instagram profile, claiming that “the voting is continuing in violation of the rules, in order to install (Nenad) Rašić as deputy speaker of the Assembly.”

“All the rules are being broken, the rights of the Serbian people are being violated, and Rašić is directly participating in this together with the ruling Vetëvendosje. Kurti is pushing his preferred candidate into the deputy speaker’s position,” Simić said.

According to the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly, the candidate for deputy speaker from the Serbian community must be proposed by the majority of MPs from that community. Rašić does not have the support of Serb List.
