The chairman of the Serbian List, Goran Rakic, after a conversation with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said that Serbs refuse to withdraw from the barricades, even “though President Vucic thinks it would be better to do so”.

“We have just finished the talks with President Vucic, now we will talk with our people in Kosovo. We received important news about the release of Pantic, Nedeljkovic and other detainees, we managed to read the guarantees of the European Union that there will be no arrests for participating in the protests and setting up barricades, as well as the guarantee of KFOR that the Kosovo Security Forces will not come to the north without our consent”, said Rakic.

However, according to Rakic, Kosovo Serbs do not trust Kosovo’s institutions, therefore they are refusing to remove the barricades. According to him, Kosovo Serbs only trust the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
