The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has confirmed on Friday that the number of Serbs who have resigned from the Kosovo Police in the north has reached seven.

A day ago it was reported that three Serbian members of the Kosovo Police had resigned from this institution.

In a press conference, after the visit to the city of Klina, Osmani said that official Belgrade is to blame for these resignations.

“There is already confirmed information, according to the investigations of our institutions during these weeks, that the endangerment of these members, intimidation, blackmail, come directly from Serbia”, said Osmani.

She called on the European Union to punish the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, for, as she said, the violation of the Brussels Agreements. Among other things, Osmani has said that in private conversations with international officials, they admit that the pressure on Serbian policemen in Kosovo comes from Serbia and its structures.
