The head of LZHK, Dashamir Shehi, said that the latest incident that took place in Tirana, where a housemaid, Rozeta Dobi together with her son stole around 120 thousand euros from the apartment of former official Alda Klosi, is absolutely revolting.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, he emphasized that this is just the tip of the iceberg and according to him, SPAK should take this case very seriously.
According to Shehi, it is not possible for a simple employee who can receive no more than 1.000 euros a month to collect such wealth, referring to the money found in her house and the properties registered under her name.
“The most recent incident in Tirana is absolutely horrifying. SPAK must take this matter very seriously. What we’re seeing is only the tip of the iceberg. Who is this lady who has accumulated so much wealth, a small clerk, a chief of staff who may or may not receive 1.200 euros a month, how has she accumulated so much wealth? She is part of a corrupt chain that starts below her and continues with this, sitting at the minister’s door and going all the way to the prime minister himself.
This is only a crumb that is given to the small guy, the small servants of Rama’s regime. SPAK is a product of Albanian politics, but I have hope that the little that SPAK may have achieved, pushed by the pressure of the internationals, and protected by the internationals, can bring about some results. We will wait and see what they will do. The expectation from SPAK has increased a lot and unjustly so,” he said.
