The ship “Moliva” is anchored at quay no. 7 of the port of Durrës, which has 102 suspected containers of hazardous waste on board.

The work to unload the containers is expected to start early in the morning and the unloading process is expected to take about 3 hours.

The 102 containers with hazardous waste, for which the Durrës prosecutor’s office has decided to seize and store them under strict security measures, will be moved to Porto Romano near the EcoPark, where a special space has been created these days.

The transport of containers by truck will also take place under strict security measures, and it is expected to be accompanied by law enforcement officers.

The space dedicated to the placement of containers during these days is a property seized some time ago by AAPSK (Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets).
