The Socialist Movement for Integration has submitted two lawsuits to the Central Election Commission seeking to declare the election results as invalid in the district of Korça and Vlora.

The lawsuit also mentions the decision to impose a 2-week quarantine for emigrants from Greece and North Macedonia is unlawful as it took away their constitutional right to vote.

On Sunday, the Socialist Movement for Integration appealed the election results in the district of Durres, meanwhile earlier it rejected the electoral process in Berat and Gjirokastra, as well as calling to repeat the elections.

On the other hand, the Democratic Party submitted yesterday 10 folders containing over 2,000 pages, which according to them are evidence of electoral fraud.

The DP is calling on CEC to declare the invalid election results in 9 districts, with the only exception being Kukes, Lezha, and Dibra, districts that were swept by the Democrats.
