Democratic Party deputy, Jorida Tabaku, reacted after the May 14 elections where the Socialist Party won most of the municipalities.

According to Tabaku, the opposition today was not the alternative, but the boycott of the Albanians.

She called for the unification of the Democratic Party, stressing that the division is taking them nowhere.

Today, I bow to the Democrats. We could not provide a common alternative for DP, we took it for granted that people will vote for the logo or the myth with their eyes closed.

It cannot be a solution or an alternative, anger! The senseless fight that has divided the Democrats cannot be a solution or an alternative. It cannot be a solution or an alternative to continuous isolation and hiding behind alibis that do not make us winners but reduce us daily.

In every ballot box from Vermoshi to Konispol, the message of Albanians and Democrats is clear; We must admit our mistakes using our pride to build a different DP and not to deny the facts!

No one can deny the problems with elections such as crime, corruption, vote buying, pressures. But unlike any other times we have to take a look at ourselves first!

Time and successive losses have shown that denunciations without reflection have turned into an electoral boomerang. Therefore, the beginning is the joining with an analysis of why the hatred among the democrats cannot bring hope to the Albanians but despair! PD must be resurrected from the ashes and must be an alternative for Albanians.

We cannot be the boycott of Albanians when we can easily be the alternative of a majority!
