Sources for Euronews Albania inform that the Socialist Party has decided to postpone the holding of the Congress for the first week of December. The Congress was scheduled for November 4.

According to the socialists, the attention during this period will be focused on the draft budget for 2024 that will be discussed during these weeks in parliamentary committees and then in the plenary session.

Meanwhile, the Council of Ministers convened on Friday, where the decisions taken on the draft budget of 2024 were communicated.

The draft budget foresees an economic growth of 3.8% for the next year, a positive primary balance, further fiscal consolidation, increased employment and reduced inflation.
