Lawyer Plarent Ndreca called the claim of the Democratic Party, that the majority wants to divide it, an excuse.

In an interview for Euronews Albania’s NOW with Erla Mehilli, Ndreca said that the majority does not have the opportunities nor the reasons to do something like this.

“This is a discourse that a part of the Albanian opposition uses to justify the apparent weakness of the opposition, to play its real role, as part of the power in the broadest sense of the word, and to show that it has all the capacity to be tomorrow, a decent representative of the majority of Albanians. It’s just an excuse. The majority does not have the opportunities or the interest to interfere in the internal affairs of the opposition”, he emphasized.
