The head of the Municipality of Shkodra, Bardh Spahia, said that Shkodra residents will join the December 6 protest in Tirana. 

In a statement to the press, he emphasized that the Government is making every effort to stop the movement of democrats so that they do not join the protest. 

“The government is making every effort to curb the flow of democrats and not only that. In all other protests, there was wide participation of Albanian citizens, including socialists. Everyone has understood that there can be no European future with Edi Rama in government. It is a special day for Albania. The Albanian government, in the style of dictatorial governments, is trying to prevent the rights of Albanian citizens with the police and state structures, but they will not succeed. The people of Shkodra will flock to Tirana en masse to join this protest,” he said.
