Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said on the show NOW with Erla Mehilli on Euronews Albania that for the first time we have a joint approach between the government and the opposition against the US ambassador, Yuri Kim.

Spahiu also said that the message of the Foreign Ministry about Kim’s mandate was direct blackmail for the KLP members who would choose the new head of SPAK.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has blackmailed the ambassador because the lobbying was only taking place for 2 more votes; the government vs America played for 1 vote in the KLP. It took two votes to convince them, and the reason why the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued the notice for Kim’s mandate was to tell the KLP members that she is on her way out, you don’t need anything, so vote for our candidate. It was open blackmail for KLP members”, said Spahiu.
