SPAK signed a memorandum of cooperation with Montenegrin Special Prosecutor’s Office

The head of the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPAK), Mr. Altin Dumani and the Chief Special Prosecutor of Montenegro, Mr. Vladimir Novovic signed the Memorandum of Understanding for deepening the cooperation between the two institutions.

Dumani emphasized the commitment of the Special Prosecutor’s Office as well as the importance of information exchange in the fight against corruption and organized crime. Mr. Novovic praised the work of SPAK underlining the role of joint investigations and mutual legal assistance.

The two chief prosecutors also spoke about the need to share experiences at the expert level regarding the best practices of the institutions they represent.

The signing of this Memorandum is another positive step in deepening relations with international law enforcement institutions, with the aim of strengthening the fight against organized crime, arms trafficking, narcotics and cybercrime.

The Special Prosecutor’s Office continues to build strategic relationships with law enforcement agencies in the region, increasing efficiency and cooperation in the fight against common challenges.
