The Special Prosecution Office has sealed the investigation on a former Kruja judge accused of corruption.
Involved in the case were also lawyer Aldo Tabaku and seven others that were sent to prison after an operation undertaken by SPAK this February.
According to the prosecution, the perpetrators were involved in a corrupt scheme that aided the release of various felons.
SPAK has proved at least two of the cases where the scheme had been put to use, while the felons were paying €6,000-€12,000 to get out of jail.
The file also has evidence retrieved from a series of wiretaps as well as police observations from street activities implicating the accused, however, the latter has dismissed the accusations.
Kruja judge Enkelejda Hoxha is accused of releasing notorious criminals convicted of serious crimes.
She has called for a more lenient punishment several times, but her request has not been approved.
