The activity of online sports betting in the country will soon be restored.

The news was announced by Prime Minister Rama who said that after a few days the draft law will be submitted for public consultation and then it will be approved in Parliament.

The head of government said that the revenue collected from this activity will go to sports, technology and culture.

“Soon we will move on to the approval phase; these days we will put the approval of online betting on the agenda. We, as experience shows, have not been able to stop it, just like other countries have not done it. Instead of remaining an informal activity where dirty money circulates, it should be an activity where large international companies will enter and there will be guarantees for the players. According to the law, all revenues will go to sports and technology,” said Rama.

In order to supervise this activity, a national board will be established, which will include representatives from the government.
