The general secretary of SP Damian Gjiknuri said during the Barometer on Euronews Albania that the challenge of the Socialist Party in the local elections of May 14 are the municipalities that it traditionally has not won.

Gjiknuri said that the aim is to win municipalities such as Kamze, Kavaja or the municipalities in the north that have traditionally been won by DP.

“We want to keep the main municipalities, especially in districts where we have electoral dominance. We aim to win municipalities that we have not traditionally had, such as the case of Kamza, Kavaja or municipalities in the North that have traditionally been consolidated by the opposition”, said Gjknuri.
