The Director General of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, and senior Police leaders, welcomed this Friday a high delegation from the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia, headed by the Director of the Institutional Directorate of Excellence, in the Department of Public Security, Colonel Dr. Abdullah bin Fadah Al-Ghanem.

The consolidated bridges of cooperation, between the State Police and the law enforcement agencies of Saudi Arabia, are the result of the official visit and meetings held by the Minister of the Interior, with his counterpart in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, of the agreement signed in the fight against crimes, during the month of February 2023, as well as the visits conducted in the month of May 2023.

During the visit to the General Directorate of Police, it was agreed that the implementation of the agreement will enable the increase in the efficiency of law enforcement institutions in the fight against terrorism, economic crimes, cybercrimes, and those in the field of narcotics.

Rrumbullaku guaranteed the Arab partners for the maximum commitment of the State Police and assured them that the State Police has all the necessary professional capacities to create joint investigative teams, to provide high reliability in the exchange of information and to decide contact points that enable direct communication between the parties.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s partners appreciated the State Police, for the results achieved recently, not only within the country, but also in cooperation with partners, for the development of joint investigations and operations, demonstrating professionalism and reliability.

The Director of the Institutional Directorate of Excellence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia invited the Director General to visit Saudi Arabia together with a team of experts, to see closely the technology and work methodologies used by the Arab Police.

At the end of the very friendly meeting, it was agreed that this cooperation should also be extended to implementation levels, with the aim of continuous exchange of best experiences, through training, to increase the preventive and striking force against crimes of an intercontinental character.
