Storm “Ciaran” has also affected Albania. Strong winds and rains invaded the country this Friday, while the situation in the capital seems very difficult.

Based on this situation, the state police has been on alert throughout the country, to help drivers and citizens in case of need for help, and to manage road traffic.

Through a press release, the State Police appeals to vehicle drivers to moderate speed and maintain a safe distance with other vehicles on the road.

The areas with the highest risk are:

Lezha, Fushë Kruja, Tirana, Durrës, Elbasan

Also, the State Police appeals to citizens not to stay in unsafe places, since due to rain and wind, trees may fall or strong objects may fall from heights.
