Teaching and agriculture are the two most requested branches this year by new students at Fan Noli University in Korça. The leaders of the institution say that there is an increase in the number of applications, compared to the first years.
10% more graduates than last year have asked to register at the University of Korça, giving good signals for this educational institution in this first stage of applications.
“This figure can be called a little higher, taking into account the decrease of the population in the district year after year, in any case, this is a good sign. On August 29, the first phase of registration begins, we are optimistic, we are also in contact with the heads of high schools and the signals are good”, said Artur Adili, Vice Rector of “Fan Noli” Korçë University.
The priority programs have had more interest from graduates, where the economic aid that the Albanian government will allocate for them seems to have had an impact.
Applications for general medicine have dropped by 40%, in Korça the branch of nursing and midwifery continues to have high interest.
On August 29, the first round of registrations begins. Given the high number of applications, the University of Korça seems to be putting the difficult days behind it.
