The southeast of the country was engulfed in snowfall on Sunday. The densest were in the mountainous areas where the thickness went from 5-10 cm.

In the early hours of this morning, there were difficulties in traffic in the villages of the mountainous areas, while all the axes that connect the urban areas with the administrative units are passable without problems.

The national roads, including the one Qafë Thane – Kapshtica – Zemblak – Gorice – Korça – Leskovik are passable without problems.

The roads of the tourist villages of Dardha and Voskopoja are also passable, but the traffic authorities advise drivers to equip their vehicles with winter tires.

No power outages are reported except for occasional outages in remote areas.

Temperatures in the Southeast are -4 degrees Celsius.
