Sultan Nevruz Day, Rama and Begaj convey messages of peace and unity

On the occasion of the Sultan Nevruz holiday, President Bajram Begaj and Prime Minister Edi Rama have extended greetings to Albanian citizens, emphasizing the importance of this day as a symbol of peace, hope, and harmony.

In his message, President Bajram Begaj highlighted that this day represents spring and renewal, as well as the values of hope, love, and unity. He stressed that Sultan Nevruz should serve as a call for greater understanding, tolerance, and coexistence in society.

“Happy Sultan Nevruz! This sacred day, a symbol of spring and renewal, reminds us of the power of hope, love, and unity. Let it serve as a call for more harmony and understanding among us, strengthening the coexistence and tolerance that characterize us as a society,” Begaj wrote.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Edi Rama chose to share a message of greetings from the Helveti Tekke in Berat, describing it as one of the most beautiful places in the Balkans, where peace and harmony prevail.

“With my wishes for the Day of Sultan Nevruz from the Helveti Tekke in Berat, one of the most beautiful in the Balkans, where peace and harmony are a belief, I wish you a peaceful Sunday,” Rama wrote.
