Today, the Supreme Judicial Council has elected Ilir Rusi as the president of this institution by a majority of votes.

The pedagogue of the Faculty of Law was voted by a majority of votes to take this post, at the meeting held today by the Supreme Judicial Council, where the Council declared the end of the mandate and the end of the tenure of Naureda Llagami and her replacement with the youngest member, Violanda Theodhori, elected by the Assembly of Albania as a representative of civil society.

Also, the Council decided to elect Yllka Rupa by a majority of votes, in the function of the vice-chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council.
