Tanja Fajon after the conversation with Dacic: Respecting the Brussels Agreement is key

The Deputy Prime Minister of Slovenia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, said today after the meeting with the head of Serbian diplomacy, Ivica Dacic, that the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Prishtina is the most important.

Fajon also emphasized that compliance with the Brussels Agreement is crucial for further cooperation.

While Dacic said that the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has informed Fajo about the current issues in Kosovo, recalling that the Brussels Agreement was signed 9 years ago and that it is clear that Prime Minister Albin Kurti does not want to implement it.

Fajon further emphasized that Slovenia wants Serbia to join the EU as soon as possible.

The two ministers announced the appointment of the session of the two governments and assessed that there is a high degree of economic cooperation, which according to Serbian data amounts to 1.4 billion euros.
