KFOR commander, Angelo Michele Ristuccia, has gone to the Government to meet with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Gazeta Express has learned.

Meeting between them comes after the events in the north of the country, where Serbian citizens clashed with the police escorting the new mayors of the municipalities in the north.

Earlier, the US embassy in Kosovo condemned the actions of the Kosovo state authorities to introduce the new mayors into the municipal facilities.

In a reaction on the profile of the American ambassador, Jeff Hovenier, it is said that the “violent measures” must be stopped immediately.
