Journalist Flogert Muça shared this Monday, during an online connection with Euronews Albania’s news edition hosted by Thimi Samarxhiu, his impressions from the courtroom in The Hague, where former leaders of the KLA are being tried.

Muça said he noticed Thaçi’s son in tears and also described the gesture made by the former KLA leaders when they entered the courtroom, greeting those present with smiles.

“What struck me the most was that while the prosecutor or the defense lawyers were speaking, Thaçi’s son kept his eyes constantly on his father, and his eyes were filled with tears. It was a detail that really left an impression on me. The President, on the other hand, did not seem distracted. He was flipping through papers, wearing his glasses, calm and confident. When the curtains opened, they were smiling, they greeted us. They were projecting more energy than we were,” Muça said.
