The coach of Skenderbeu U18, Romeo Xeka, was banned for life from the sport after slapping two players of his team.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Xeka explained how the situation was, while saying that the Federation’s decision was rushed.

He further apologized for the way the news was missunderstood.

“From the whole game it was capture only a few seconds. The player told me, professor, I’m not feeling well emotionally, you can give me a slap, anyone in the world of sports understands. I just shot at her one time. This was transformed in the most different ways. The decision that came from the Federation is very serious, it is a very hasty decision. I think it should be reviewed as a decision. It’s a decision based on just 3-5 seconds. It’s very pointless. I apologize again for the way it was conveyed. We hope to be calm towards the final. I will be a simple spectator” – he said.
