A massacre happened today in an elementary school on Belgrade, where 8 students and a guard were killed, because of the gunshots by a 14-year-old.

Among the dead are 7 girls and a boy, who were in different premises of the school at the moment when the minor shot at them.

The Serbian police arrested the boy’s father, he was in possession of the gun that his child used to kill the students. He claims he had a legal permit for the weapon.

“He claims that the weapons were locked in the safe with a code, but obviously the child had the code to that safe, in addition to two pistols, three magazines full of bullets were also found. Unofficially, it is known that together with his father he went to the shooting ranges for shooting practice”, said the police spokesperson.

Head of the Police Department in the Belgrade Police, Veselin Milič, said that the student had planned this crime for a month and that he had a list of children he planned to kill. He also said that the gun used in the crime was taken from the apartment by the father of the suspected student.
