Umar Nieto, the American who believes in the Islamic religion and has come to live in Albania, told the story of his life in Real People Euronews Albania.

He confessed the violence he experienced as a child from his stepfather, as well as the racism in Hawaiian schools because he was white.

Nieto also showed the tattoos on his body, where his grandfather Juan Jose Nieto, who was president of Colombia, was painted on his left elbow.

Umar said he never knew his great-grandfather and could not say whether he was a good man or not.

“This is my great-grandfather, he was president of Colombia once. We have the same last name, his name is Juan Jose Nieto. He was the president of Colombia and he was a freemason when he was young, so I don’t know what he might have been like as a person. There were criminals and the army and things like that,” he said.
