The voting process for the local elections was officially closed at 19:00.

In all polling stations where there are no voters inside the polling station or outside waiting in line, the voting process is closed.

Meanwhile, in those centers where there are still voters in line, the process will be extended by a few minutes. This is a rule provided in the Electoral Code to give opportunities to all those citizens who have the will to vote, but who left it the last minute.

A decision not to arbitrarily disenfranchise these citizens.
