Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted to the removal of the barricades in the north of Kosovo this afternoon.
In a post on Twitter, the head of government emphasized that the show lasted a little too long but in the end, there was nothing new.
Ironically, said the prime minister, the “barricades” were used as peaceful means with the blessing of the United States and the EU, but the end was the same.
“Nothing new, the show lasted a little too long, the tension rose a little too high, the words were exchanged with a little more fire, and the military maneuvers had a little too much flair, but the end was the same and everyone went home, someone with his victory with him as always!
Oh yes, something unheard of also happened! The new meaning of the barricades came out, which after 434 years entered the list as a form of peaceful protest with the blessing of the EU and the USA! We hope for the understanding of our strategic allies that we’ll agree to disagree on this point. Absolutely disagree! The question remained the same as before these peaceful barricades and hostile declarations! And until different answers can be given in the same way from the past, the question will remain there, even after the next show, when the barricades peacefully break the monotony of the non-solution” – wrote Rama.
