The US ambassador to Kosovo, Jeff Hovenier, met with the special envoy of the United States of America for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar.

In a post he made on the Twitter, he wrote that civil society has an indispensable role to play in holding institutions accountable and advocating and building a better future for everyone.

“Deputy Assistant Secretary Escobar joined me for great discussions today with various representatives of civil society from all over Kosovo. Civil society has an indispensable role to play in holding institutions accountable and advocating and building a better future for everyone,” he said.
