The three young men from Sudan, who were filmed by Euronews Albania cameras in difficult conditions in the village of Dardhë in Korçë, were found on the main road by the southeastern police. Authorities immediately transported them to the refugee camp in Kapshticë.

According to official information provided by the Korçë Border Police, it has been confirmed that the young men were provided with clothing, food, and heating, as they were found in poor physical condition.

After being interviewed by the Border Police and FRONTEX forces, all three will be sent to Tirana, to a social center.

In a phone interview for Euronews Albania, the Director General of the State Police, Ilir Proda, confirmed that the young men will be treated with dignity and in accordance with all legal procedures.
