So far, 36% of ballot boxes have been counted in Tirana, providing a clearer picture of the new political representation in Albania’s largest electoral district.
According to current projections, the Socialist Party of Albania (SP) is expected to secure 19 mandates, while the Democratic Party–Alliance for the Great Albania (PD–ASHM) coalition is projected to win 13. Of these, 12 SP mandates and 12 PD mandates are expected to go to candidates on the closed list, while 7 SP seats and only 1 PD seat are projected to be won through the open list.
Projections also show that the “Opportunity” Party is expected to win 2 seats, while the Social Democratic Party (PSD), the “Albania Becomes” Initiative, and the “Together” Movement are each expected to secure 1 seat.
Based on electronic counting in the Tirana district, results are available from 75 of 1,282 voting centers.
According to the data so far, Blendi Gonxhja is the most voted candidate within the Socialist Party with 5,080 votes, followed by Fatmir Xhafaj with 1,880 votes and Erion Braçe with 912 votes. These three are clearly leading the race for individual mandates.

In the opposition camp, Ilir Alimehmeti is currently the most voted candidate in the PD–ASHM list with 1,115 votes, and is currently the only candidate projected to win a seat through the open list. He is followed by Jorida Tabaku with 996 votes and Myslim Murrizi with 761 votes.
