Today, the Summit of the Western Balkans will be taking place in Tirana, with the participation of the EU Commissioner on Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi as well as representatives from Kosovo, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Bosnia Hercegovina.
The Summit is being held two weeks before the decision of the European Council regarding the accession of negotiations for Albania and North Macedonia.
In addition, the leaders of the Balkan states will be discussing about the projects acquired from the Berlin process, while several agreements are also expected to be signed today in the economic sector.
The Summit will conclude with the joint conference of PM Edi Rama and the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi.
