Tirana police publish the plan of measures for Saturday’s protest: Do not park on these streets

The Tirana police have published the plan of measures drawn up in connection with tomorrow’s protest that the opposition is expected to hold on the “Deshmoret e Kombit” boulevard in Tirana.

In the police statement, it is announced that starting at 06:00 on Saturday, January 11, parking of cars will not be allowed on the following streets: “Deshmoret e Kombit” boulevard, “Mother Teresa” square, “Ismail Qemali” street, from the intersection of Elbasan street with “Ibrahim Rugova” street, “Papa John Paul II” street, “Zhan D’Ark” boulevard and “Bajram Curri”, from the intersection of Elbasan street with “Ibrahim Rugova” street.

Also, on these roads, the traffic of vehicles will be blocked, from 10:00 on 11.02.2023 until the end of the rally”, says the police announcement.

The police “requests the understanding of citizens to avoid moving with vehicles on these road axes and use alternative routes, in order not to hinder the free movement of the participants in the rally.
