The Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti declared from the doorstep ahead of the EU-Western Balkan Summit that the bloc should continue with the enlargement process, in case it really wants “to become Europe”.
According to him, the Western Balkans are the exact region which the EU needs to achieve that goal.
“The EU is our fate, while Europe is our continent”, said Kurti, as he recalled that more than 3 years have gone by since the Commissions’ recommendation to remove travel visas for the citizens of Kosovo.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo also rejected that they had been supplied with vaccines from Russia.
