The rich values ​​of tradition in the Gjirokastra area such as folklore, ethnography, characteristic clothing, traditional cuisine, and many others are attracting more and more tourists. The Ethnographic Museum, in whose pavilions the cultural heritage of Gjirokastra is presented, is visited with interest by tourists even in these summer days.

Foreign visitors express interest in the variety of traditional values, characteristic objects or cultural heritage passed down through the generations.

Tourists from different countries of the world claim that Albanian traditions and the city of Gjirokastra in particular are quite attractive for every visitor.

Throughout the summer, the stone city is welcoming an increasing number of tourists, while in June alone, Gjirokastra was visited by about 35 thousand tourists.
