Italian MP, Francesco Emilio Borrelli, has reacted to the tragic death in an accident of two Italian tourists, who were hit to death on the Ksamil-Saranda road by a 17-year-old who was driving the vehicle without a driver’s license.

In his reaction, the deputy emphasizes that more noise was made about some Italian tourists who left without paying from a restaurant in Berat than about such a tragic event.

Borrelli asks Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to take measures to seek justice for the Italian citizens who died because of a minor in Albania.

“I hope that Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will take measures in time to ask the Albanian government for justice for Domenico Gritto and Vincenzo Tizzano, the two young men from Monteruscello who were killed by a car driven by a minor who in no way he could not have been at the wheel, as determined by the police themselves who are investigating.

Do it with a lot of persistence and determination with which you intervened to protect the Albanian restaurant by paying the bill of eighty euros for the four Italians who left the restaurant without paying. Unfortunately, at the moment not a single word has been said about our fellow citizens who lost their lives in the tragic accident, neither by you nor by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama. “Unfortunately, an unpaid bill in a restaurant makes more noise than two Italians who were killed,” said Alleanza Verdi Sinistra MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
