President Bajram Begaj has received a congratulatory message from the U.S. President, Donald Trump, on the anniversary of Albania’s Independence.

In a reaction on social media, Begaj says he shares the U.S. President’s greetings with Albanians on this important day.

“It is an honor for me to convey President Trump’s greetings to Albanians on the occasion of Independence Day. Thank you, USA, and thank you President Donald J. Trump for the warm and positive messages on this important day.

Albania remains committed to working with the United States on our shared priorities. Albania has always been, and will always be, alongside the United States. May God bless our nations and our people!” Begaj wrote.
