The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has congratulated Republican Donald Trump, after his victory in the presidential elections in the USA was confirmed.

“The USA is a key ally, friend and partner for Kosovo and we look forward to working together for progress and peace,” Kurti wrote in X.

While other political leaders of Kosovo had congratulated Trump earlier in the day, Kurti waited until the official confirmation.

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, congratulated the Republican Donald Trump on the announced victory in the presidential race against the Democrat Kamala Harris in the USA.

She emphasized that the USA remains an “unwavering and irreplaceable” partner and ally for Kosovo.

“I look forward to working with the new administration to further deepen our unique bond and strategic alliance,” President Osmani wrote in X.

With a victory in Wisconsin, Trump – who had also led the US administration during the years 2016-2020 – managed to exceed the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency.
