Kosovo has signed a contract with the Turkish state manufacturer “Makine ve Kimya Endüstrisi” for the construction of a modern ammunition factory, which will produce according to NATO standards.

The news was made known by the Turkish producer himself through an announcement on social networks, where the importance of this project for strengthening the cooperation between Turkey and Kosovo is emphasized.

According to MKE, this factory will not only support the development of Kosovo’s defense capacities, but will also contribute to the increase of exports of the Turkish defense industry.

“We signed an agreement for the establishment of a modern factory in Kosovo, which will produce ammunition according to NATO standards. We are proud to have contributed to the exports of Turkey’s defense industry, strengthening our friend and brother country, Kosovo, with this signed contract,” says the MKE statement.
