The US State Department has blacklisted Artan Grubi, former deputy prime minister from the DUI ranks.

Also, Enver Bexheti, a judge at the Court of Appeal of North Macedonia, was included in the black list.

“Pursuant to Section 7031(c), the State Department publicly charges Artan Grub and Enver Bexheti for their involvement in substantial corruption by accepting bribes to undermine judicial proceedings related to the criminal conviction of Sasho Mijalkov, director of the Security Administration of North Macedonia and Counterintelligence (UBK). Mijalkov was designated in 2022 for substantial corruption under Section 7031(c), and OFAC sanctioned him pursuant to EO 14033. As part of this action, immediate family members of Grub have also been designated,” the U.S. Department of State’s announcement.
