The United States Embassy in Tirana has called on Albanian citizens to comply with visa conditions and the permitted period of stay in the United States. U.S. authorities emphasize that overstaying the allowed period may lead to serious consequences, including visa revocation, deportation, and difficulties with future applications.

The statement highlights that remaining in the U.S. beyond the “admit until date” listed on Form I-94 can permanently affect a person’s ability to travel to, work, or study in the United States. The Embassy urges citizens to carefully plan their visits and strictly follow travel regulations.

The warning comes at a time when many Albanians are traveling to the United States for study, work, or family visits, making compliance with visa time limits a priority in order to avoid potential legal issues.

“Respect the conditions of your U.S. visa and the authorized period of stay in the United States. Staying beyond the date indicated on Form I-94 may result in serious consequences, including visa cancellation, possible deportation, and ineligibility for future visas. Overstaying may permanently affect your ability to travel, study, or work in the United States,” the Embassy stated.
